Tim Heng MVP
Tim Heng has over 20 years’ experience and is a Director in the Sydney team. Tim has developed and reviewed financial models across a range of industries and sectors, throughout Australia and internationally. He has worked with clients to develop bespoke modelling solutions for business challenges, using a combination of Excel, VBA and database analytics.
He has previously held analytics roles at Toyota and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, project finance banking at OCBC Bank, and was an Associate Director at Corality Financial Group, where he managed model development and audit projects and headed up the Training Academy.
He has worked across the world, with clients in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam. These assignments have involved the development of strategic corporate and project-based financial models, model reviews, training of analysts and senior staff and include the creation of several actuarial steady-state models for modelling credit risk, provisioning and customer churn.
Tim has written articles for the CompAct and Modelling Section newsletters published by the Society of Actuaries (US), and has been a regular presenter at conferences, training courses and webinars for Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CAANZ) and CPA Australia.
Tim is also recognised as a Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in Excel by Microsoft, and one of fewer than 10 specialising in financial modelling worldwide.
