Final Friday Fix: December 2020 Challenge

On the final Friday of each month, we’re going to set an Excel / Power BI challenge for you to puzzle over so that you can get your “Excel fix”. Challenge your office colleagues to see who can solve the puzzle quickest. There are no prizes at this stage: you’re playing for bragging rights only!
It’s special to have an Excel fix on Christmas day, whilst also waiting for the New Year. The challenge here is to spill a range of cells – “Happy New Year” – multiple times using Excel formulae.
The Challenge
When we say “spill”, we are referring to an Excel formula that returns a range of cells according to user’s needs. Data often needs to be organised and arranged in different ways. Now, the challenge for this is to spill “Happy”, “New” and “Year” six (6) times each as shown in the example below:
This challenge is designed to get you to think outside the box and beyond your basic functions of copy and paste. It’s not the hardest challenge ever this month, and you never know, “spill” may “spill the beans”…
